We make songs meant to matter in twenty years
aSongio is a small studio of songwriters and music producers. We do one thing: personal songs for the moments people remember.
aSongio was born from a favor. A friend asked for help creating a personal song as a wedding gift for her cousin — she wanted to give something more meaningful than another traditional gift, something that actually felt like the two of them. We wrote it, watched it land exactly the way she'd hoped, and realized this was worth doing for everyone who's ever struggled to say something in words alone.
Since then we've worked with the same method: we ask the questions that surface the concrete details. Not "describe your mom," but "what did she always say when something went wrong?" It's the details that make a song feel like a specific person, not just anyone.
We use modern tools, including AI, in parts of the work. We're open about that. But a song never becomes personal because of technology — it becomes personal because someone reads your story carefully and cares about getting it right.
How we work
The story comes first
We never start with genre or tempo. We start with what actually happened, and the words that keep coming up when someone talks about that person.
A human takes responsibility
Technology is a tool. Before anything leaves us, a producer has listened through the whole song, checked names and pronunciation, and judged whether the tone lands.
We'd rather say no
We don't take orders meant to mock, get revenge on, or expose someone. A song that causes harm isn't one we want our name on.
Careful with what's private
We collect as little as possible, keep it briefly, and never publish anything without your explicit request.
